window shopping

This performance art piece emerged from a three-day workshop with Dominic Thorpe in January of this year. I measured a dress in a shop window, replicated it on the pavement, and drew my outline using chalk to see if it would fit. In asking, "How do I try on a dress without trying it on?" I reflected on the pressure women often feel to conform to a certain size, with dieting as a constant presence. I explored how this internalized judgment and lack of confidence can lead to not feeling appropriately dressed or comfortable enough to enter certain shops, leaving my experience of shopping often limited to just window shopping. A year full of shit

This performance took place in the Church Gallery at LSAD whilst doing a workshop with BBeyond in 2023. After collecting toilet rolls for a year, Tina decided to do a performance with the toilet rolls, discussing her life with one particular with one roll. Again a humorous, piss take on life, improvised and in the moment of her memories.

Drowning Her Sorrows

A performance created on a workshop with Amanda Coogan (2022), involving my imaginary sea swim with the statue the Virgin Mary. A one sided dialogue discussing motherhood. It is humorous and addresses questions Tina has regarding Mary's virginity
