Self Portrait Leg

Forged from the artist's frustration with society's relentless urge to categorize and label individuals, and tattooed on the back of the leg in the carving is Ogham writing, symbolizing the phrase 'without name,' this piece embodies her unapologetic authenticity. It portrays the artist as she truly is a diligent working woman donning steel toe cap boots as she carves, juxtaposed with her love for glamour and revelry. This multifaceted representation challenges conventional labels and celebrates the complexity and individuality of human identity.

This piece of work is a private collection.
